Baylor Regional Medical Center at
Plano
Baylor
Regional Medical Center at Plano is located at
4700 Alliance Boulevard, near the intersection
of President George Bush Turnpike and Preston
Road in Plano. In phase one, the
350,000-sqare-foot hospital will have 96
inpatient beds; 32 day-surgery patient beds; 12
operating rooms; and a full-service, 24-hour
emergency department treating all general adult
emergencies. Five cardiac catheterization,
electrophysiology and interventional labs; and
two endoscopy suites will be available for
diagnostic and treatment services.
Next door to the hospital, the nearly
189,000-sqare-foot Baylor Medical Pavilion I
will house a full range of primary care
physicians and medical specialists, as well as
house the Baylor Scoliosis Center and the
Women's Imaging Center. This professional
building is 90 percent leased at present,
including the new practice location for the
30-plus member medical specialty group Dallas
Diagnostics Association.
Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano is an
affiliate of Baylor Health Care System, an
organization that exists to serve all people
through exemplary health care, education,
research and community service. In fiscal
year 2004, Baylor Health Care System reported
more than $228 million in community benefit, a
20 percent increase from last year, to the Texas
Department of Health.
